Criteria for Nominations
Nominations for Anchorage ATHENA Society members are solicited from the community at large. Inductees are selected based on the recognition of their outstanding leadership and excellence in their business or profession, their community service outside of job requirements and that they are known for assisting women to reach their full leadership potential. They must also work in Anchorage. The nominations are screened by a selection committee comprised of past award Recipients.
2023 Nominations are Closed!
Nominations closed on Thursday February 16 at 5:00 pm.
The selection of the 2023 nominees will be announced late in the day on Wednesday, Feb 22. Check our Facebook page late in the afternoon.
2023 Luncheon
Our traditional luncheon will be held between 11:30 and 1 pm on Monday, March 20th at the Dena’ina Center. Tickets are $50 per person; tables of 10 people are $500 and can be purchased on the Chamber website.
Nominations for the class of 2023 opened on January 2, 2023 and will close on Thursday February 16, at 5:00 PM AST.

Yes, nominations can come from anyone.
